charleskcousins I used to have a programme on campus radio called Surreal Estate, which I had inherited from its originator when they moved to Toronto I believe. I was also working as a club DJ and doing time in a record store. This album has stuck with me for decades. Rapture is a particularly fine tune. The overall energy and production fits nicely with several artists from that time. I was super stoked to run across this here! I've been waiting to find this for a long time.

Rapture 03:32
We drag our feet, as we dream of the ruin, are you ready for the Rapture? This is our choice, we had it forced on us. We live in a savage state. We have no thought, we are corporate whores, manipulated we consume without passion. Now you look up, you see the sun in the sky, and it’s so clear we can change it all. we stand up, like no others before, And we can change things, yeah we can change things. Now we are young, we are ready to explode To bloom one last time, like the phoenix of a golden age. Watch for the night when it will all come down. The night of a thousand blooms, passion. Will you like back as the dogs of war wage a silent battle in your backyard? We live in a savage state. Now you look up, you see the sun in my hands and it’s so clear we can change it all. I hear a voice scream above the crowd, are you ready for the rapture or already captured? You’ll hear this voice, as you try to sleep at night, Are you ready for the Rapture, are you ready for the Rapture.

Big Heart 02:55
Another page on the calendar was something you could ignore. You had the strength to ridicule time, these days it’s a fine line. You sit with people or by yourself, is there something you have missed? If you could only make up your mind, a way to stop this restlessness. Then you and your big heart, should be able to make a start If times not the reason, you need something to believe in. If you knock you will find a door, remember there are always more. No reason to just pass the time, nothing travels in a straight line. By now you must realize we are responsible for all life. We can be the catalyst, capture the spirit you think you’ve missed. Then you and your big heart, should be able to make a start If times not the reason, you need something to believe in. Now people must make a choice, to cry out in one strong voice. The men in power will meet demands, if they’re loud enough to understand. Are you stirring from your pleasant dreams, to see that life is too obscene? Keep your attitude strong and fine, be aware these are changing times.

Train you gun on my baby, train your gun on me You want to make me suffer, for my evil deeds Callous and cruel, you satisfy your need Try to make judgment, you have the demon seed Bastard Father incestuous son, the mutant Sister, what have they done? Dirty henchmen kick the priest fallen from grace. Confuse religion, psychology and, sex. See the sun glinting on carbon blue steel, hard eyes burn bright, is your aim true? As the flat plateau hums with tension, good destroys evil under the sun. Train your gun on me baby, train your gun on me I want to see your face, see you at my feet. Dangerous and sharp, you satisfy your greed. Sand sucks my blood, I have one last deed. One last treachery to bring you down. Can you shoot though the innocent to bring the bad down? All these men died for gold it’s the blood of greed. The good are successful against the disease. See the sun glinting on carbon blue steel, hard eyes burn bright, is your aim true? As the flat plateau hums with tension, good destroys evil under the sun. The ritual slaughter is done. Only one man lives to hold his gun. The characters rise and fall in this place. Justice is served with a taste of fate. Carrion black birds carry the wake, there is no conclusion just waste. The moral sits in your favorite place, good destroys evil and they die like dogs. Good destroys evil and they die like dogs.

Falasha 05:47
I’m standing at your door you can’t invite me in I am your brother, I am your brother At the temple door you try to stone then I am a relative, I am a relative Now I starve at your feet, you will not feed my need You will let me fall, will you let me fall? I will not be forgotten, why do you call me falasha I will not be forgotten, falasha, falasha I’ve kept the faith for year, trying to join the others I am no stranger, I am no stranger I cannot not be profane, I have not brought disgrace I am your family, I am your family A thousand years will pass, still you will forget Your forefather’s heirs, your forefather’s heirs I will not be forgotten, why do you call me falasha I will not be forgotten, falasha, falasha You stand and watch me die, I am your Father’s kin We are brethren, we are brethren I am not dead yet, victim of victims I am your kin, I am your kin Many days have passed, the dying begins As we are dying why are we not let in I will not be forgotten, why do you call me falasha I will not be forgotten, falasha, falasha I’m knocking at your door, you can’t invite me in Can’t you feed your sisters and brethren You say you don’t know me, I have not failed you I am no stranger, I am not stranger Why are we passed over, should our time end? Why won’t you let me in, why won’t you let me in? I will not be forgotten, why do you call me falasha I will not be forgotten, falasha, falasha
